Rules to Play By
Call for entriesSubmission form
Submissions due Wednesday August 14, 2019.
Rules to Play By is a playful weekend exhibition of rules, instructions, recipes, scripts, programs, and scores exploring the theme of “rules to play by.”
We are particularly interested in the point where instruction art becomes game-like, or where game rules intersect conceptual art.
We invite you to submit anything from a tabletop RPG to a musical score. All media are welcome.
Selected pieces will be displayed at PixelPop Festival in St. Louis, MO during the weekend of September 14–15, 2019.
